The purpose of coaching is to minimize risks of wasted time, energy and money in seeking to establish yourself as an expert. Every successful person has a coach. A well trained coach provides structure, increases accountability, stages weekly or twice monthly tasks(which you select yourself) moving towards completion of your milestones. Selecting a coach will create a shorter path towards success. Of course, no one can guarantee your success better than yourself. 

We offer a variety of individual and group coaching options. Sessions are between 25-50 minutes.  Some programs meet weekly while at other time twice a month. As you are further into the coaching process, sessions are often less frequent to allow you time to complete major assignments you’ve created for yourself. The number of sessions is determined by the package you purchase. If you need to slow the pace a bit, you let us know. However, there’s an expiration date for each program to prevent loosing momentum. Studies show those with delivery dates, or deliverable agreements, make steady progress. A coaching client who stops and starts is apt to fall off the project and give up. 

Author and speaker coaching sessions are most often held via telephone, Skype or group webinar.  Some course work and/or coaching is held at live events during a hotel venue. In the case of a weekend retreat or conference, a portion of the training is provided face to face in lecture or presentation formats when weekend live in-person workshops are scheduled.

Our author and speaker coaching sessions are best applied to non-fiction since they are shorter term.  Much of what we teach is generally applicable to writing, promotion and marketing your work via the internet. Since our programs have shorter time frames, i.e., 12 – 24 weeks, most often fiction is a longer march to the finish line. If you are working on “The next great novel best seller” it may be wise to choose only the author success marketing portion of our programs.

Our role is to coach directly regarding the process of becoming an author and speaker. We do have a number of contacts for organizations who provide various levels of editing services. However, we do not offer these services as part of our programs.  We will share guidance on what level of editorial services you may wish to hire.

We do have support staff who are trained in their respective skill sets, making them qualified to train, mentor and coach you.

Our author and speaker coaching processes are structured, sequential and build skills overtime. The more time you invest in your career development, the faster you will succeed. Most of the programs are 12 or 24 weeks, with renewal necessary if you select to keep working with through to completion with us.  If your projects are major, and longer term, then completion may take 4-6 months. You should set reasonable expectations since success is never an overnight phenomenon.

We do offer training materials within the structure of a coaching relationship. Coaching focuses on encouraging the client setting their own pace, deciding which tasks are more important, prioritizing those tasks which follow in a natural work flow rhythm. The Coach’s role is to reflect back to the client as an accountability partner, then determine when milestones are met and help work-through those which were missed. Coaches don’t tell you the client what, when, where, how and when to take action. You set those stages up with the coach’s support as your milestones. Therefore, if you take action, following through as planned, your progress is as deep, rapid and sequential as you decide. We offer the structure, you labor to achieve those milestones. The key is setting reasonable weekly, twice monthly or monthly goals which are measurable.

Our programs have an introductory review free look period through various presentations prior to purchase.  We expect a client to read through the program offerings thoroughly, asking for clarification before signing up.  The burden for success is within the client’s role to work smart, follow the steps and show up for sessions.  We do not offer money back guarantees once you’ve entered a program with us. It’s your responsibility to be passionate, committed and determined to succeed 100% working the program, putting forth regular, good effort.

Our services are offered to one individual only per user or client. Giving another person access to your account could cause termination of services since this is a coaching relationship based on one-on-one interaction.

For the higher priced programs, we do offer a payment plan to make purchasing easier. We also offer discounted incentives with some programs to help soften the cost of your educational and coaching investment. Remember, you’re paying for an education, coaching, mentoring and training for your success. Good education isn’t cheap. Make an investment in yourself, follow through and use what is offered completely.  The benefits grow as you use the gifts given.
